Harold Knynsberg, P. Eng.- Structural Engineer

Harold graduated in Civil Engineering from the University of Minnesota in 1967. He has been a member of APEGA since 1970, and brings over 50 years of local and international experience in both private and public sectors. Harold utilizes his extensive expertise and in-depth knowledge to provide overall direction and coordination at all stages of development from conception to post-completion, making sure that projects are delivered on time and on budget to meet clients' requirements and expectations. Harold is able to provide expert advice supported by his many years of experience and a multitude of challenging projects of significant scope of work throughout Canada and US.

ANNIE GABAT-LUPA, P. Eng. - Structural Engineer

Annie is a University of Alberta graduate in Civil Engineering. She joined Fulcrum Engineering in 2007 and has since continued to develop her experience by tackling a wide variety of projects. She prides herself on her ability to resolve construction issues in a practical and efficient manner. Annie has accumulated a wealth of experience in the structural consulting engineering field and has applied that experience in multiple projects across Alberta and Canada. She has a keen eye for detail and her creative edge and focus make her a great asset to Fulcrum Engineering.

MICHAEL KORTE, P. Eng. - Structural Engineer

Mike graduated from the University of Alberta in Civil Engineering. He joined Fulcrum in 2015 and brings a practical, hands-on, and results-driven approach with strong leadership skills to the Fulcrum team. He has worked with a diverse client set and is committed to developing innovative and efficient structural solutions. Mike has been involved in a broad range of projects and he enjoys all aspects of structural design, ensuring the delivery of highest quality. His determination results in cost-effective projects that achieve both corporate and client objectives and needs.

​FERNANDO VALDEZ 

Fernando is a graduate from NAIT'S AutoCAD Program and has been with Fulcrum Engineering since 2007.  Fernando has 13 years of experience leading structural drafting teams, compiling construction work packages and coordinating with multiple-discipline consultants and contractors.

LAURA KNYNSBERG

Laura has been providing Administrative support to Fulcrum’s management personnel since 2005. Bringing solid working knowledge and experience, she is responsible for a wide-range of duties and organizational tasks necessary to keep our business running in a resourceful, organized way.  Her outstanding ability to prioritize and organize tasks makes her a great fit and a valuable member for the smooth operation of our company.

Jolene has been with Fulcrum since the spring of 2021. Throughout her career, she has worked in various administrative roles and fast-paced, multi-tasking environments within a range of organizations.  Highly competent, motivated and enthusiastic and with a wealth of experience, Jolene manages the daily administrative functions of our office, in addition to her many other office duties. She is a friendly first point of contact for our clients, driven to ensure they receive exceptional service.
